all lotions are emulsions of oils, waxes & thickeners, with water & preservatives for shelf stability and long life.  while a 25 items ingredient list may be the norm for the corporate makers of the brands you find in the store, we prefer to keep our ingredient list short & sweet - shea butter, sweet almond & avocado oils with emulsifying wax, stearic acid , distilled water & phenonip, as a preservative.

our non greasy lotion was developed to make the most of skin soothing benefits of shea butter matched with the scents we’ve grown to love.  the 4 oz. size makes trying the different scents more affordable and you’re likely to use it up before you tire of the fragrance.

as much as we love this thick lotion, it has proven to be a real challenge when it comes to packaging – bottles just don’t work and plastic jars have always been quite costly. We could always increase the cost of the lotion to cover fancy packaging expenses and while we have made a conscious decision to use no frills recyclable glass for the 4oz jars, we have finally found a source for 2 oz plastic jars that won’t break the bank. Shapes, sizes and colors of the 2oz jar may vary over time but the product inside will remain the same. This will help us keep our focus the precious ingredients that go in the jar, and not the jar itself.
